So what's our story?
Meijun, a Chinese-Jamaican Art Director and Estefi, an Ecuadorian Graphic Designer, started our creative journeys in 2011 at Pratt Institute in New York, each graduating with a degree in Communications Design 4 years later. After working at separate renowned advertising agencies on brands like Mercedes Benz, Subway, Smart Car, and Lance Snacks, we honed our skills for 8 years before embarking on a new adventure.
In May 2019, we relocated to Ecuador and founded TakeThree Studio, a nimble creative studio offering brand development and website design services to clients around the world. Through hard work and dedication, we collaborated with 40+ brands on 60+ projects, fostering growth as both a studio and as individuals.
Along our creativepreneur journey, we embraced diverse roles, from pricing and contracts to client engagement and doing the actual creative work βwearing multiple hats to keep things running smoothly was the norm. Even though we acquired valuable tools through hands-on learning and lots of Google and Youtube University, we did feel a bit lonely βWe craved community and a safe space to learn alongside other creativepreneurs.
Over time, we've learned that it's okay to seek help and that community and collaboration are more valuable than competition.
That's why we created Takethree Uni π‘
This is a space for art & design students, freelancers, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and small biz owners who are tired of doing it all alone π«
